Early life

Diljit Dosanjh was born on 6th January 1984 in a village named as Dosanjh Kalan in Phillaur tehsil, Jalandhar district. He used to participate in kirtans while he was still in high school at local Gurdwaras with his friends, later he move to Ludhiana.

Entry into the entertainment industry

Diljit enters the entertainment industry as a singer with his first album Ishq da uda ada in 2004 under T-series. After that he releases one after another albums and finally debut as an actor in a “Mel krade rabba” with a small role, but as a main male lead he appears in “ lion of punjab” for the very first time.

He debuts with “Udta Punjab” in bollywood and won the award for best male debut for the same. The actor was also a part of huge budgeted television projects such as “rising star”, “Punjabi film” awards, etc
