About a decade ago, the famous family drama Sasural Simar Ka on Colors channel made its way into the watchers’ hearts as it showed the heartwarming tale of Simar. At the centre of the show, there were several endearing characters that matched household titles including Simar and of course the very famous Mataji. After having, the fans occupied for seven lengthy years, Colors’ pillar show Sasural Simar Ka has come back with a bang with the second season.
In an all-latest avatar, the show has chronicled the growth of the new Simar(Radhika Muthukumar), who wants to become a singer but her life gets an amazing turn when she meets the path with earlier Simar(Dipika Kakar). This second season of Sasural Simar Ka has already premiered on 26 April 2021 at 6.30 pm on COLORS.

A simplistic yet flexible girl, Choti Simar is much like Badi Simar, is rooted in her conditions and principles, but she is a modern-day girl, energetic, and dreams of getting her mark in the area of music. While Geetanjali Devi applies to the old school of thinking and is inquiring for an unambitious daughter in law for her grandson Aarav (Avinash Mukherjee). She transfers the responsibility to our original or Badi Simar to search for a fitting match and her search leads to Choti Simar who is perfect yet separate from Geetanjali Devi’s big expectations. As their stories get interwoven and their ideas clash, this creates Choti Simar’s journey, of finding a new life and connections.
Talking about the show, we truly think that stories have the ability to bring happiness, even more so in these difficult times. As the country continues to struggle with the pandemic, COLORS is constantly striving towards producing the best of enjoyment for their watchers. Well, we are very pleased with the second season of this iconic show Sasural Simar Ka. This has been one of the marquees presents that tasted tremendous success and became our favourite.
As the story unfolds, we will perceive the new Simar, fighting against probabilities, tackling unusual ideologies, and beginning out on a new adventure. We are very happy to see Dipika Kakar and Jayati Bhatia once again back on the screen together, who in true knowledge devoted to its success. In the sequel, Simar is in a new avatar, who has to perform a very powerful task of discovering a Bahu, her likeness for Geetanjali Devi, and that will establish the setting of the brand-new season.
