A Hoichoi upcoming original Murder in the Hills is yet another dark thriller suspense that will give you coolness as you observe the grim view of the beloved hill station Darjeeling. Delivering its much-awaited trailer very lately, this upcoming web series has now created quite a hype circling its unique script with its noteworthy cast. this is made under the known director Anjan Dutt, where this show guarantees to produce a gruesome tale of lies and enigma right to our covers as we feel that every niche and of the hills hides a dirty dark secret.
A star-studded known cast has already been roped to perform the leads in the project, starting from Arjun Chakraborty, Sandipta Sen and Rajdeep Gupta, Anindita Bose to Rajat Ganguly, Suprobhat Das, and Sourav Chakraborty. Among all of those playing pivotal characters in the web series, how this epic plot winds itself about such powerful roles shall be deserving a must-watch.
Looking at the trailer of this suspense thriller unveils all the professionals in the game. We see Arjun Chakraborty playing the role of The renowned Journalist, and then we have Anindita Bose showing the character of The Teacher. Then we have Suprobhat Das showing the soul of the Coach, with Rajdeep Gupta being The Cop, Sourav Chakraborty being The Filmmaker, Sandipta Sen showing the role of The Doctor, Rajat Ganguly as The renowned Writer and Anjan Dutt being The Star in the web series. In a bloody turn of stories, The Star is killed, producing The Journalist on a quest for truth that approaches to show all the dark secrets and shame, showing the true shades of the masked criminal or murderers, where all of the characters appear to have a reason to perpetrate the crime.
In an exclusive interview given by the director to one of the notable news portals, Anjan Dutt provided some reflections about his forthcoming project. Describing the story as a remarkably dark one packed with complex figures, the plot is strong, full of myths and rumours, and smelling in mysteries. This edge of the chilly hills is getting to become very dark… where we will witness the blood being shredded with the destruction of the history catching up with this present.
Anjan Dutt also believes that here in an OTT world where this will be something new, rivalling his work to that entire global standard was appropriate. Therefore, to achieve an obvious appeal, he abstained from series' shooting in some crowded underbelly of this snowy hill of Darjeeling. Preferably, he filmed in those areas, which are mostly the known hot spot by the tourists and them rarely likely to visit those.
This is produced by SVF Entertainment and thus, Hoichoi’s upcoming original Murder in the Hills is scheduled to be streaming on the Hoichoi platform from this month of July 23.
