Pavitra Rishta 2's epic first look was bestowed on social media where we see the fresh couple of Ankita Lokhande - Shaheer Sheikh performing the iconic character couple Archana and Manav. The late Sushant Singh Rajput formerly performed the foremost lead.
The shooting of Pavitra Rishta 2 has already begun. The announcement was bestowed on their ALTBalaji’s official social media pages. The producers shared a snap in which the main lead Ankita Lokhande hit a pose pairing with the main actor Shaheer Sheikh. While the actress will continue to perform the role of Archana in the show, the actor joins this show as the most popular Manav.
The late actor Sushant Singh Rajput earlier played the role of Manav. Then used to be a real couple Ankita- Sushant met on the show's sets of earlier Pavitra Rishta where they fell in love and they dated each other. The couple moved on to serious dating that lasted for six years.

Though, then late Sushant split the show as he was programmed to make his debut in Bollywood. After his exit, the small screen popular actor Hitmen Tejwani caught up with the character. The show Pavitra Rishta used to be aired on channel ZEE TV from 2009, June to 2014 of October. On sharing how she felt about his death, the actress said that Sushant invariably taught her acting. He was not just an actor but as someone who managed to teach the actress what is real acting. Since she was junior to him, so he has given him some really unforgettable tips. He was actually a gifted actor, excellent co-star and she was very blessed to act with him. On the professional end, Ankita was earlier seen in the Hindi film Baaghi 3. And now, it will be yet another famous actor Shaheer who is well known for his Sony TV’s show Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi.
